The School of Management (MBA and PGDM) organized an International
Lecture Series (ILS) for the post-graduate (PG) students on June 27,
2016 at Kristu Jayanti College. Dr. Justin Paul, Professor, University
of Puerto Rico, USA addressed the students on current perspectives of
international business. “With the mantra, ‘Go Global, Grow Global’ the
Indian economy has welcomed Foreign Direct Investment(s) and fueled the
growth of development in the country,” said Dr. Justin. Illustrating
with examples of various economies like China and Korea, he also
explained the need for the acceptance of globalization in current
business environment to adapt to the present global economic market.
“ILS is a program exclusively designed for the post-graduate students of Management Studies to understand the global business market and to get an exposure of the economic perspectives of emerging markets like China and India,” said Prof. Sen B Mathews, Director, Center for Placements and Corporate Relations.
Dr. Aloysius Edward, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management, Prof. Vijaya Bhaskara, Head of the Department, Management Studies and Prof. Sen B Mathews, Director, Center for Placements and Corporate Relations were also present for the session.
